One
of two Holy Water Stoups on either side of Central Nave,
St.
Peter's Basilica
When
you see the massive Central Nave of St. Peter's Basilica, the cupids on
the holy water stoups do not seem very big.
They
are actually a little over 6 feet tall each. The basins are by Francesco
Moderati (1680-1721) and A. Cornacchini (1685-1740).
